Gong Sun-ji (Park Joo-hyun) and Kim Moo-young (Choi Jin-hyuk) come here to pay their respects to the late So-ri, a girl who was kidnapped and killed, in episode 6 of Zombie Detective (좀비탐정) (KBS2, 2020).
Jo Yoon-sil (Seo Yi-sook) visits this columbarium in episode 2 of Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (도도솔솔라라솔) (KBS2, 2020) and meets up with a private detective here. Han Ji-yong’s (Lee Hyun-wook) funeral service is held at this location in episode 13 of Mine/Blue Diamond (Ma-in/마인) (tvN 2021).Ĭha Joo-eun (Seohyun from Girls Generation/Seo Ju-hyun) comes here in episode 4 of Private Lives/Private Life/Sasaenghwal (사생활) (JTBC, 2020) to attend the cremation of Lee Jung-hwan (Go Kyung-pyo), and where the ashes are laid to rest. Tak Dong-kyung’s (Park Bo-young), whose parents are laid to rest here, brings Myul-Mang (Seo In-guk) here to introduce him to them in episode 10 of Doom at Your Service/Destruction Doom (어느 날 우리 집 현관으로 멸망이 들어왔다) (tvN, 2021). Gemma/Kim Jin-ah (So E-hyun) visits her late dad who is laid to rest here in episode 9 of Red Shoes (Bbalgang Goodu/빨강 구두) (KBS2, 2021). Yoo Ja-sung (Kim Ji-seok), whose parents are laid to rest at this columbarium, comes to visit them in episode 7 of Monthly Magazine Home/Monthly House (월간 집) (JTBC, 2021). When Seen-hwa is gone missing in episode 37, this is the first place to which Yoon Jae-min (Cha Seo-won/Lee Chang-seop) comes to look for her. Her ex-husband drags her here in the same episode to show her that it’s true. When Bong Seon-hwa (Uhm Hyun-kyung) is released from prison in episode 36 of Second Husband (두 번째 남편/Du Beonjjae Nampyeon) (MBC, 2021), she learns that her son has died during her incarceration and is laid to rest at this columbarium.
It is also here that Yeon-joo teaches Yoo-joon about the paradox of ‘ Schrödinger’s cat‘, “the world’s most famous cat”, she adds wryly. Jo Yeon-joo (Lee Ha-nee/Lee Honey) and An Yoo-joon (Lee Won-geun) come here to pay respects to Yeon-joo’s grandmother, who is laid to rest here.
